OK SA DEPED PROGRAM       As part of program of the Department of Education that aims to promote and provide all learners and DepEd Personnel with a holistic school health programs towards better learning, the Torre Elementary School complies Oplan sa Kalusugan sa Department of Education (OK sa DepEd).       OK sa DepEd in our school was launched last August 10, 2018. This was joined by the our School Nurse Mr. Ogie Dela Rosa, Dr. Marites M. Dela Rosa and Rev. Ruben G. Caoili , Pangasinan Coordinator of Reliv Kalogris Foundation International RKF. During the launching, Rev. Ruben G. Caoili , donated 12 cans of Reliv NOW, milk supplement for our severely wasted and wasted pupils. He also explained the benefits of drinking Reliv NOW. ANTI-SMOKING PROGRAM  IN OUR SCHOOL       There’s no way around it. Smoking is bad for our health, it harms nearly every organ of the body.   Cigarette smoking causes 87 percent of lung cancer deaths.   Diseases related to smoking have been shown to kill approximately half of long-term smokers compared to average mortality rates faced by non-smokers. The Torre Elementary School follows strictly the anti-smoking policy in school. Signages were posted around the school premises to show that our school imposes no smoking place.  It conducted its anti-smoking campaign on March 1, 2019, in relative to the strengthening the implementation of the 100% Smoke—Free Environment Policy by the Department of Education.  This aimed to protect  and safeguard the health of our students.  Mrs. Perpetua B.
